Single Trip Insurance vs. Multi-Trip Policy

In Britain, studies show that more than a third of the population goes abroad between 2 to 5 times a year. However, nearly 60% of them buy single trip insurance for each trip when the total costs amount to more than the cost when they choose for a multi-trip policy that lasts an entire year.

Travel insurance from travel agents are generally more expensive and more likely to neglect giving details about the policies they are selling. If you buy from a bank or an insurer, you could be more safe in getting the right policy because they are regulated by the Financial Services Authority and you could go to the Financial Ombudsman Service in case of trouble.
